Established in 1980, AtoZ is based in Okaya, Nagano prefecture. We also have branches in Matsumoto and Ina, and offer positions throughout Nagano. Our teachers work with a range of ages, from children to adult learners. We also have lessons at local companies and provide ALTs to elementary, junior high and high schools. We currently employ about 45 foreign teachers from all over the world.Apart from English, we offer classes in Spanish, French, Chinese and Korean.We offer a competitive compensation package and extensive practical and cultural support to all our employees. 　Host to the 1998 Winter Olympics, Nagano prefecture is steeped in history and culture in a spectacular natural setting. It is the largest prefecture in Japan, located in central Honsyu (main land Japan). We are surrounded by the Japan Alps. In summer hiking, camping, and cycling are all popular. In winter Nagano is an outdoor sports paradise, with world class skiing, snowboarding, and snow shoeing always close by. After a busy day outdoors you can relax in one of the plentiful onsens (hot springs) found throughout Nagano. We also have temples, castles, art and craft museums, and eating options ranging from small traditional soba shops to the most elegant French. 　Urban life is always close at hand as well. Matsumoto and Nagano city are just a short train ride away, and Nagoya and Tokyo are both a couple hours away. Kyoto is about a 4 1/2 hour drive/bus ride.
